Avoid locations with high temperature variations such as outside walls.
Avoid displaying pictures in direct sunlight.
Avoid writing on photographs using ink.
Avoid self adhesive / magnetic albums as these will damage your photographs.
Avoid handling as fingerprints leave perspiration and oily stains.
Avoid DIY cleaning of photographic materials.
Albums should be acid free.
Store albums flat.
Use acid free corner photo corners.
Use acid free paper between photos to stop them sticking together.
When displaying use glass with UV filtering to protect the photographs.
Photographic materials last longer in cool, dry well ventilated locations.
